Baset Temple (Prasat Baset) is an 11th-century Angkorian temple located about 15 km northeast of Battambang.
It was built during the reign of King Suryavarman I and was originally dedicated to Hinduism. The temple is made of brick and sandstone and features a central sanctuary on a raised platform.
Today, it is a peaceful historical site surrounded by countryside, visited by both locals and travelers seeking a quiet cultural experience.
